Wild Sex in 1990
Some songs from 1990... The year I got married. I can't remember anything from that year except sex. Lots and lots of sex. Wild, passionate, animal lovin' in every room of our first apartment - on the kitchen counter, in the bathtub, against every wall and door, upside down in the closet... What must the neighbors have thought? We were mad with lust and experimentation that first year, trying out every position, game and fantasy. Talk about memories! Now I'm lucky if we get it on once a month. Arrghh, what middle age and kids will do to a couple.
Anyway, back in that first year of wedded bliss, we fucked and sucked to these tunes:
- Prefab Sprout - "All The World Loves Lovers"
- The Adventures - "Sweet Burning Love"
- The Lilac Time - "All for Love and Love for All"
- John Hiatt - "Real Fine Love"
- The La's - "Timeless Melody"
- Georges Delerue - "Love Theme from Joe vs The Volcano"
- World Party - "Love Street"
- J.D. Souther - "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes"
- Oingo Boingo - "Try To Believe"
- Danny Elfman - "Edward Scissorhands Theme"
- The Chills - "Effloresce and Deliquesce"
- Jeff Lynne - "Lift Me Up"
- Jellyfish - "Baby's Coming Back"
- Midnight Oil - "King of the Mountain"
- Paul Kelly - "Pouring Petrol On A Burning Man"
- Julee Cruise - "Falling"
- James - "Sit Down"
- The Trash Can Sinatras - "Only Tongue Can Tell"
- Toy Matinee - "Things She Said"
- Traveling Wilburys - "Poor House"
- Luka Bloom - "An Irishman in Chinatown"
- The Beautiful South - "Tonight I Fancy Myself"
BONUS! Songs About Sex!
Since I don't get much these days, I have to live vicariously through the music...
- Berlin - "Sex"
- Big Daddy - "I Want Your Sex"
- Nick Lowe - "Let's Stay in and Make Love"
- Sparks - "All You Ever Think About Is Sex"
- Oingo Boingo - "Wild Sex (In The Working Class)"
- Pete Belasco - "Make More Love"
- k.d. lang - "Sexuality"
- Queen - "Get Down, Make Love"
- Sparks - "Sextown USA"
- Billy Bragg - "Sexuality"
- Kristian Hoffman - "Sex In Heaven"
